Organic Abstract Art Abstract Digital Water Color Intro
----
Bright green lily pads float on a variegated pond of deep blues and purples. Flowers burst with surreal explosions of bright yellows, reds, and pinks. Hues transform as the petals overlap giving the whimsical frog a quite magical garden.

This illustrative piece of digital art was created in Photoshop, making use of the textures generated by repeated and varied application of the clouds filters. The petals of the lilies are ovals of these textures blended with layer blend modes. The frog was drawn with the pen tool then filled with additional custom textures.--Centered Garden - A prayer for focus.--Peony Burst - Bright abstract rendering of this intricately petaled bloom.--Sea Turtle - A barnacle mottled sea turtle floats just below the surface as she swims along the shore line.--Poinsettia Still Life - This floral study of a vase on a table is one of my experiments in creating traditional subject matter.--Rainy Day Peony - This floral extravaganza, too heavily petaled to hold up it's crown once dowsed with spring rain, droops and scatters it's neon colors across a murky puddle.--The GIft --Chick n Hen - A warm up to creating Rainy Day Peony this is a heavily colored, filtered photograph.--Come into the light - Transparent, glowing butterflies are drawn into the light. --Heron Cove - On Sheridan Lake in southern Alabama the elusive heron reigns over cliffs, retreats to dense foliage and masterfully plucks fish as he quietly glides over the mirrored surface of a morning lake.--Great Sycamore - Mottled peeling bark, oversized leaves, great spreading limbs and heaps of roots raised up from the earth.
It's not wet.
It just looks like it was painted with
bright layers of water color.
