See What I See - A cat may live in our home but it is never quite domesticated. A split second and it will leap into unknown depths with a boldness born of insatiable curiosity. Instinctually lured to the hunt, oblivious to also being prey. A metaphor to the times when we must take that un-calculated leap of faith, oblivious to a logical outcome.

SAIG Fall Library Show - Purchase Award

Inspired by the similarity one of my digital abstract images held to a cat's variegated eyes, I married this to a photograph of distorted, river washed roots I had taken along the banks of the Ohio river. The log in the foreground cried out for a feline ready for adventure. My daughter's himalayan was Happy to pose.
